Cannot Wait for Felix to Return

I love Phillip Tanner's story, but he's just not strong enough yet. Can't wait to see what Felix can do with with Fiammetta. Can't wait for the screen game to return to the playbook. Murray and him will be a scary combo, and give Jason more reason to stick with the run.

Felix Jones is a very good player.

If he is the COP back they can concentrate on him getting involved more in the passing game where he excels. I think he can be very dangerous on draw plays as well.

He will add something to this team when he is back. I heard he may be back next week.

Demarco should continue as the starter and lead back and get 20 carries per game. Felix could come in and get 5-8 carries and 2-5 passes per game. Tanner may be useful as the goalline guy as he seems to run with a low centre of gravity and churns his legs.

Overall, I think is the best group of backs we've had since Emmitt and that complementary vet we had from Seattle.

With Austin out, I'd like to see us line Felix up out wide every now and then. We all know what he can do in the open field.

Bring Felix in on 3rd downs and let him return kick-offs.

It would be crazy to pull the reigns on DM after what he has shown he can do.

.....FELIX DONE GOT 'WALLY PIPP'D'.....HE'S THE #2 BACK NOW!:laugh2:

As long as Murray gets the ball in the redzone. He is a downhill runner and has a nose for the endzone. I didn't like what I saw from Tanner this week, he seemed to take a couple of shots that normally he would avoid. If we ever get another blowout I would like to see Tanner in the mop up role with extensive carries..

Imo felix's return may mess up a good thing with Demarco. Let felix sit on the bench a while longer.

DeMarco will stay as our starter, Felix our extra wide receiver and 3rd. down back plus kickoff return's hopefully, he'll be back to where he was his first and second year, just enough touches to keep thos legs fresh and can be the fastest player on the field

Me either. Felix isn't a starter/every down back, but he is a great change of pace back. He's probably the best backup running back in the league.

Ben Tate?

They shouldnt rush felix's return. He should be absolutle 100% before he comes back because he's injury prone and we don't need him getting anymore injured. Demarco's in beast mode anyway so we aren't really missing anything with Felix out.

I wonder how much of an impact not having Miles out there will have on the running game. Teams can definitely play the run a lot more now, of course this would happen when Felix is almost ready to come back :D

Glad Felix is coming back...I think some fans are giving him a bad rap.

Murray is great and has absolutely earned the starting role and the every-down back role. However, Felix is a home run threat who excels when used in a more limited/special manner.

I am hoping that Murray continues to see the majority of snaps, and that Garrett will let Felix return to his role as a specialty back...In the mold of Reggie Bush or Westbrook. I also hope we begin using some 2-back formations with both Murray and Felix at times. Both of them are excellent receivers as well, and splinting one out wide or putting one in motion with the other also on the field will cause defenses to account for both of them, which would open up the field for a variety of options.

yup with the injury to Miles, it will now allow us to start implementing packages with Felix or Demarco lined up as a WR instead of putting clueless Martellus out there.

Everyone knows the talent is there, the bad rap is that he can't keep his body healthy.. Murray's vision-power and his ability to break it to the edge surpasses what Felix brings, Felix brings the shiftyness and the moves to beat people in space
