He leads the team in Pass Defended [9]

Our Pass Defense is 13th in the NFL! [ Dallas was 31st when Henry got hurt]

Yes, he will be once Henry is healthy. Reeves is progressing nicely but Henry >>>>> Reeves.

Reeves is a good 3rd corner, but he is average below average 2nd corner.

Do you realize why he has that many tackles? It's because people catch a lot of balls on him, so he needs to make a play after the catch.

Now, obviously he gets picked on more, but this is the main reason why he's up there in tackles. Henry is a better corner without question, and is our only good press coverage corner. To think Reeves will start over him once Henry is FULLY healthy is foolish.

Maybe the first few weeks when Henry is being eased back into the lineup, but once he's healthy, he is the best option.

I really like Reeves , and think he's done a pretty good job this season . That said , I look forward to having Henry and Newman on the field together . What I really look forward to is this secondary in 2008 . A healthy Newman , a healthy Henry , Reeves with some experience under his belt , and a first round rookie CB coming in without the pressure to start .

Reeves is tied for 3rd in solo tackles not because of his run support it's because he gives at least 10 yard cushion to WRs, so he allows WRs to catch the ball in front of him and then he makes the tackle, if he doesn't then that WRs will be running into the end zone. His rarely gets opportunities to takle running backs.

I think Reeves is good but not as good. Reeves has played in every game this season while Henry has played in 4 so of course Reeves tackles will be higher at this stage. I like Reeves and consider him an important part of the defense but Henry in my view is better

The reason Reeves have to give huge cushion to WRs is because he lacks experience, and sound CB technique to stay step for step with WRs so he has ways to go in order to become a good CB.

So what happened to your theory of Reeves being a great run supporter?

I agree and I think Reeves will get better because of all the action he is seeing. I look forward to seeing this team with the secondary all playing together because we have not seen that happen yet.

I like Reeves, he has done a good job while getting valuable on-field experience but Henry is the starter when he is healthy, no question about it.

eduncan22 on the other hand is a lost cause.

I think the coaches are the ones telling Reeves and our corners to play that far off. I've seen Newman play the same way too. That is also one of the big reasons three step drops are killing us. Our corners give up too much of a cushion and our Pass Rush still isn't where it needs to be.

Wow. This isn't Madden 2007 you know. If speed was all that mattered, then Jerry Rice wouldn't have been the greatest WR ever. Wasn't he clocked in the 4.6 range?

Sure Henry gets beat deep occasionally, but he also doesn't play ten yards off recievers. You know why? The coaches actually trust him to make a play most of the time.

The fact that you're biggest argument was Reeves runs a faster 40 shows how little you've watched these two play. It's quite obvious Henry is mucy better.
