Can't even enjoy a good win with Cowboys fans

When you beat a division opponent that gains almost 400 yds on offense and has no tos. thats huge, that means we took their best shot and still won!!!!!!!

Some people need to know this is not college.

what? I thought this was college!

c'mon man... to play as horrid as played and still come out with a win is awesome and means we still played pretty good

I'm dissapointed in a lot of the drives the Giants were able to muster against our defense though. I know we're better than that.

Probably because it brought some of us down to earth. At least for me it did. I hate to say it, but it took two stupid penalties for us to get to the goal line, those two times. On our own, we relied on FG's.

But I know the Giants always bring their A game against the Boys, so I'm not going to complain about our D too loudly; but they always help the Giants look better than they are.

I expected a much higher intensity from our D and I didn't see it. I saw Eli have too much time and I saw Shockey having his way with our secondary again.

The good to come out of it is that Romo, despite not having a 'Hollywood' day keep his head and do what he needs to do to win. Games like these define QB's.

Had the penalty on Fasano not occurred on Barber's first TD run, then that play would have been a clear-cut TD pass IMO. I don't see how a called penalty there tarnishes the TD drive.

I don't take this win for granted. We didn't play our best today, but isn't that reassuring? We were on the road in a HUGE game against a division opponent and we withered a little under pressure, which is to be expected. But when we were down with about 1:03 left, our up-and-coming QB and our awesome TE came up with the play of the game. Then Parcells decision to get rid of Vandy for Grammy turned out to bear delicious fruit. Would it have been more fun if we had blown them out? Of course. But we won a gut check game in a hostile environment. This was a coming-of-age win, everybody.

Now let's take care of the Saints.

Good to great teams find ways to win games like these. They just do. They're not always pretty, but they won.

That's all I wanted today, and the Cowboys delivered.

I'm not about to nit pick this game. I expected it to be ugly.

Ding Ding Ding

I think too many people were really over estimating how hard this game would be.

Too many people thinking we would just go in and kill them.

It was a hard fought win and we deserved it.

I would rather win ugly than lose pretty.

The defense has me worried. The O-line, not so much. The majority mof their pressure cam from blitzes wide off the edge that backs/TEs are supposed to pick up

i'll take a win anyway we can get it

So will I.

This was a big game to win......against last years division champs, 1st place in the division on the line, we were behind only in the 1st quarter, and we pull it out in the final seconds. That's cluch playing on the road if you ask me.

Winning like on Thanksgiving is the only acceptable outcome in these parts.
Hell even after that game I saw more than few complaints about that first touchdown drive by Tampa Bay, the deep ball that Joey Galloway caught, and TO drops.

On the TICKET they are trying to downplay everything, and on this forum we have everything from 'the defense sucks' to 'the oline needs help'.

Geez, we just won a tough game against a division opponent on the road. NFC East games are never clean pretty affairs.

I understand the desire to not overlook problems from today, but I've kept from overhyping the Cowboys for 5 weeks now. I thought maybe the Carolina game was a fluke. I didn't think we could actually beat the Colts. I thought we'd let up on Thanksgiving. And then I figured that going into New York we'd probably be close but not have enough just like last year.

But not now. The Cowboys have won some really important games over the last month and I'm tired of hearing all the complainers after one of their better wins this eason.

I totally understand, you can't say that everything was fine today...but come on...enjoy the win over the G-whimps who have been talking trash all week about how if they play their game no one can beat them....HOW DO YOU LIKE DEM APPLES ..Suckey

Possible, but Fasano is slow.

it'll take more than just one game for me to start worrying

we were #4 in the league in total D coming into the game, and caused a TO in every one of them

Did you catch the caller earlier who asked where Drew Pearson and Wally Lynn went? :laugh2:

I really, really dislike this postgame show. I used to listen to every one to the very end, but now I actually turn it off sometimes. I respect Norm, but he focuses on minutiae and loses sight of the big picture, IMO. And he seems to want to argue with callers even when they make good points.

On the first drive, the PI was the only thing that prevented a Fasano TD

On the second td drive, Terry Glenn had a first and goal at the seven. the personal foul oved the ball a whooping 4 yards. We earned our TDs

I for one am going to enjoy and relish in this victory to the upmost of my abilities. So if you want to complain......GO TO A GIANT BOARD.

I'm with you. I pretty much know which threads to ignore and if the game's on TV, I don't even venture in until afterward.
