Now it's happened.

But I think we should not panic..

Most teams now will think we are incapable of being competitive.

Which should help us.

It should take the pressure off the team now.

There are no big expectations.

If we can stay within 2 games of the leader by the time Zeke gets back..

I say we are still in it.

Anybody got other thoughts?

I agree with one of your major points and that is there will be little expectations now with Zeke gone. It seems since the 1996 season that Dallas has not produced when expectations are high, especially under Garrett. Low expectations seem to help us. I'm not sure we know how to win if we're expected to win.

Zeke hasn't been nearly as effective as he was last year. Nobody is going to write Dallas off because he won't be playing so you can erase any idea of sneaking up on someone just because Zeke isn't out there.

Any team that writes Dallas off will do so because the defense is a complete train wreck. Given up the most points over the past month. Hardly anyone will win giving up 33 points/game, with or without Zeke.
