IMO we focus on the defense in the first round with our two picks. I think the top two QB's won't be there anyway Moore and Mendoza and while you have Mauigoa at OT at number 8ish best player on the board who deserves a good look, he likely won't be there also.

With Bains, Caleb and Woods likely long gone, the closest to being available for our first "first" round pick IMO is Faulk DE who is listed as number 2 by position behind Bain and number 8 best player on the board, better shot with a guy like McDonald at NT ranked number #2 at that position but up around 28 best player on the board, Bailey and Reese LBers both ranked the highest by positions but Reese is at 15 and Bailey is around 17 best player on the board so very good chance one is there.

I would take anyone of those 4 with the 15th depending on which of the 4 are there and that's assuming again Bain DE, Caleb Downs S and Peter Woods DL are already gone.

Not sure what board you have been looking at but Reese is the #1 player on most since November. Out of the players mentioned, besides DTs the ones most likely available might be Bain or Downs.

So they can actually talk drafting other players than DT’s in 2026.
With Williams and Clark, they can build around them.

If Reese some how makes it to the Cowboys pick they better take him. With that being said he will not come close to our pick unless we trade up for him. He might be #1 pick overall or at least top 5. Also we do not need to pick Woods. We already have 3 good DT tied up with contracts

Yes,
Most consensus last few weeks is he's the best player in this draft. A QB or 2 will be drafted ahead of him but he's unlikely to make it out of top 5.
That 15 ranking hasn't existed since he started being evaluated as having pass rush ability and not just as an off the ball LB!

They just picked Abdul Carter, have Brian Burns and still have Thibodeax under contract for a season.
They need to shore up that OL!

I think the Giants trade down with the Cardinals or Dolphins they will be trying to jump the jets to get QB Dante Moore, Oregon. Then they can draft a LB, WR later down the board.

The Giants need an OT and a WR so my guess is they go with Mauigoa, however if they decide Dart is not their guy I can see them picking Moore since Mendoza is gone 1st pick.

We are rebuilding the defense "hopefully" not the offense, we could use some O-line help in the 2nd or 3rd for sure.

USA Today with picks 12 & 20 has Dallas taking LB Sonny Styles OSU and physical coverage CB Brandon Cisse South Carolina . Exactly the two positions I noticed today and all year the Cowboys Murray was horrible and Caelon Carson at CB I’ve seen enough of . I can appreciate these two in round one.
