Can't stop laffing about this one

Clint Longley sucker punched Roger Staubach and then proceeded to do his impersonation of a punching bag as Roger throttled him. Danny White was assigned to keep Dan Reeves at bay so he wouldn't stop the fight.

The Baltimore Ravens don't like each other. They have a inter-squad fistacuffs session. I wonder if Ray Lewis killed anybody.

Does anyone remember the Cowboys ever doing this?

:lmao2:

i don't but i sure hope we don't.

we'll have Jenkins scaring players standing in his aggressive stance

Tank will be shooting people

Pacman will be handing out vicious paper cuts while making it rain

Roy will be whiffing on his punches

and Dixon will you know......

I knew Longley hit Staubach, but did Roger really get his revenge? I've never heard that part. Or were you joking?

According to Danny White he did. While he was engaging Reeves he turned around and saw Roger stomping a mud hole in Longley. Roger had promised to "knock the Bugs Bunny teeth right out of his head."

Yeah, mon amis, individual fracases but a whole team going against each other????

What a hoot!

Yes, it happen......Roger, I read tore him up.

Randy White never got messed with because NOONE on our team was stupid enough to start anything--accordding to Too Tall Jones :star: :lmao2:

I have read that T.O. is a scrapper.....and you best not mess with him

Hollywood had to be coked up to be lying on his back staring up at Randy and say"If you let me up I'm going to kick your ..."

I read in Cliff and Charlie's book that Cliff knocked Golden richards out in practice. It wasn't a fight; Richards wasn't paying attention and loafing and cliff laid a slobbernocker on him to teach him a lesson.

Charlie wasn't the only one shaking in his boots.

I don't have any problem with it.

The Cowboys of the 1970s weren't a get-a-long gang. We had our third string QB sucker-punching our superstar QB. Randy White was putting people like Thomas Henderson through walls. Any football team is going to have conflict, real conflict, in it at some time. Its normal and far from dysfunctional, so long as the team doesn't allow the feelings to cause dissent and bitterness. Sometimes it even brings them closer together.

I wouldn't throw stones at the Ravens given our track record since they have been in existence. A little aggression and killer instinct is probably needed and might explain why we haven't won a playoff game in over a decade.
