I'll bet there is a lot of "chuckling" going on around the league right now with all the cap casualties hitting free agency. I am sure the guys being cut are laughing their ***** off and the teams losing players they would like to keep are rolling on the floor laughing. Yeah, the cap is irrelevant. Teams can do whatever they want to do.

More times then not its usually planned out when they are signed. Most FA's dont play more then two or 3 years on the team that signed them. FA's are always looked at as short term unless you are talking about a true elite like a Suh.

I dont know how many times Ive seen teams sign a high priced FA, and turn right around a draft that position somewhere in rounds 1-3

Havent heard Carr linked to anyone yet. Good chance he will be back.

Good chance Wilcox will be a Buc.

Hard to tell with Claiborne. Have to see what Baltimore offers. Dont think he will leave Dallas for a 1 year deal. Will anyone give him a multi year deal?
