Cap Number come March 12th

Seems like many people have forgot that we have to be under the cap of $123 million at 4 pm eastern on March 12 but that is only for the top 51 contracts not all contracts.

Cap # of top 51: $121,378,156 as of 3 pm central March 8th
Cap # of all contracts (68 players and dead money): $128,503,506 as of 3 pm central Mar 8th

We are under the cap currently, not by much but under.

True if they can get Romo contract done I think they will be in good shape. They say they can get under it without giving Romo a new contract but it would help free up space if they do

I do not think our Dead Money is included in the Top 51 Figure. Our Dead Money is around $4.6 Million. Our Front Office still has some work left in the next few days to get under the Cap.

Neither is the 2012 rollover money. They pretty much cancel each other out. Stephen Jones told Mike Fisher they are about 600,000 under the cap.

I know the Boys like to go into the season with around $3 million in cap space so if they have to sign someone during the season they can do it; or resign someone as they have done during the season.
