Adam suggested in his most recent update Dallas has around $15.9 Mil of cap room. Since that time, Dallas has incurred the following 08 cap hits (note all these numbers are my estimate based upon the net cap hits, due to the rule of 51 Adam has explained):
Resigning Ladourceur-$400,000
Franchising Hamlin-$4,100,000
Likely future cap hits:
Barber tender- $2,300,000
Canty Tender- $1,800,000
Draft- $2,100,000
This leaves Dallas with around $5.2 Million in cap room based on my edjucated guess. I think Dallas could resign Flo if they chose. Seems to me there is room for one other signficant move under the cap....maybe flo, maybe another player. Obviously things like cutting Glenn or extending Hamlin long term could help the cause.....
