he will be a 10.378 million cap hit if released or a 5.2 million cap hit if a june 1st cap hit but then also a 5 million cap hit for next year

If we keep him he will be a 7 million cap hit

So making Ratliff a june 1st cap hit hit will save us 1.8 million this year but will be a 5 million dead money cap hit in 2014

It's unfortunate what happened between Ratliff and Jerry. This put us in a real tough position with him.

Free is as good as gone.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Miles. I want to give him one more year but he carries a huge cap hit.

Nope. We'd have to add another 5 mil to that deficit. This pretty much spells the end of Miles and Free's tenure here. Plus restructures are needed if we want to be active in FA.
