NO, The delay is you are not allowed to have assistants hired a couple of days before the super bowl, and plus both Jerry and Wade Phillips are at the superbowl right now along with the PR guy, so nothing is expected to go down until Mon. or Tues.

The NFL does not want anything being a distraction from the SB. While there is no actual written rule as far as I am aware, it is customary to wait until after SB weekend to announce hirings, firings, contract extensions, ect.....
