just heard John Clayton running down the list of teams most negatively affected by the new 120m cap coming ......he said we are around 18m over.....
so...whose contracts get restructured and who gets cut so we can sign our priority free agents either on our team now or from other teams....?
..anyone on this board being doing the math....?

rumor has it that there will be some special provisions for this year that will make the cap more like $130 million. But no one will know until the CBA is signed and it becomes public.

Word I've heard from experts (Adam included) is that the team has the ability to clear up to $20 million under the cap so they have the ability to sign whoever they want.

Mistake #1 is listening to anything John Clayton says about the Cowboys.

This is the guy who stated that Owens wouldn't decide on a new team for months after the Eagles released him. The very next day he was in Dallas for the press conference.

Clayton doesn't know the Cowboys are in Texas!
