What does Denali stand for? I paid way too freaking much for this GMC?

Living AK, if you live in the city go Suburu, otherwise go with truck.

It's a beautiful and rugged but cold and remote national park in Alaska.

Our little white Toyota Corolla isn't very sexy but it gets over 40 MPG and it is fairly comfortable and we like that. To get around on our ranch, our Chevvy 1500 pickup works fine but only gets 16-18 MPG so we don't use it on road trips.

Pretty much. My wife and I have been GM since forever but no more. My wife recently went with a Hyundia Sante Fe over a GM Equinox and saved thousands. This summer I'm due for a new truck and I really want a new Silverado badly. But I won't be stopping at the GM dealership down the road when that time comes. GM has become way to expensive for our taste unfortunately. Vehicles just as good are considerably cheaper IMO.

Any good sized pickup is going to be lousy on gas. If you need a pickup look at the little guys. If you do not NEED a pickup, get a car. SUV or something like it. Too many people get pickups as an image thing or to show off.

I have an '05 STi. You'll look for excuses to drive it. The smile will never leave your face.

That's my testimonial.

I like trucks because I can usually see what is in front of the car in front of me, just can't stand to sit low to the ground, literally makes me sick to my stomach.

I once wanted a Denali...then I saw they were as expensive as Escalades. And since I wanted to buy vs lease, my funds said no to it.

But I really, really wanted a Denali. *sigh*

The Sonata and it's 35mpg (est 600miles per tank) is starting to look very appealing.

My dad has a Honda Ridgeline. It's amazing for utility and has all the truck you'd need. Good on gas too.
