Best? Worst? Cheapest? I've been with Farmers for years but I feel like I'm starting to get worked over.

Most of my life I've used Allstate. A few years ago, I switched to Progressive for 6 months and Allstate gave me an amazing deal to come back. Farmer's will probably do the same thing if you switch for a short time. These companies hate losing customers to competitors.

Been with Geico for a long time and it's cheap enough that the hassle to switch isn't worth it.

I've had Allstate and currently have State Farm. Liked them both. I've heard AAA is pretty good but they always quote me ridiculously high. I don't know why, never had a ticket or car accident but whatever.

Life pro tip: don't go to places like Fred loya or any other "discount" insurance. I have friends and family who have been massively screwed over by them, even when the accident wasn't their fault.

Avoid Hartford and Mercury. When it is time to pay claims they never heard of you, or check is in the mail.

Geico.. And it was cheap until I had a run of bad luck with tickets and accidents. Now I'm stuck in a sand pit of high premiums until they fall off.

Geico.

No complaints so far. Haven't used them yet.

Was with State Farm, but they were going to bend me over when I got/had a sports car.

Yeah, I used to work for one of the big insurance companies and had a claim where the other party had Fred Loya and were clearly at fault. Just a typical rear end accident, they straight up wouldn't pay for our customers damages, said their customer wasn't at fault. I'm like, he admitted he was at fault. Crazy

Amica for home and auto

Safeco is great also
I'd been with State Farm for 25 years before they bumped my home owners up by $500 one year so I switched to Amica. They saved me $500 on what I had been paying State Farm and they've been an absolute joy to do business with. Bought me a new roof after a hail storm when some of my neighbors had their claims denied and called along the way to make sure everything was going well.

me too, I've got two vehicles insured for about $700/year, can't imagine it getting much cheaper to justify the effort

USAA and before that Geico. Never had a complaint.

If it wasnt for USAA never would have left Geico

Nationwide with auto and home. They have been great when we have to use them. Have always willing to fight for us. One time they told the other insurance company you need to pay up since it was owners fault by a certain date or we are taken it to court. Got the check in two days.

Farmers on me and my wife's cars, Pronto on my work truck

Was with Farmers for 25 years and just swapped to Texas Farm Bureau. Saving about 2k total a year on F350, suburban and house. Coverage about the same, Allstate was cheaper yet, with a little less coverage.
