Im looking to get four 6 x 8 speakers for my car.

I dont want anything fancy. I just want something to replace the busted speakers in my car.

Does anyone know if Audiovox speakers sound very good?

Once again I dont need anything that like Memphis Golds.

I just want something cheap that sounds good.

Yeah its a 2000 f150 extended cab so its four 6 x 8's

I'd like to spend in the 50-70 dollar range for all 4 speakers.

I have a hook up at Autozone that can get me a big discount as well.

Save yourself a ton of trouble and just go to the Crutchfield website, pick out the speakers you want, and if you have opposable thumbs...but them from the cheapest place you can find on ebay....if you don't have opposable thumbs, buy them from Crutchfield. Crutchfield makes everything ridiculously easy.

I live where one of the two Crutchfield stores is located. When I first got here that place was like crack. I had so much money invested in TV's, speakers, etc, etc, that could barely afford to eat.

Nevermind....no I don't. YES I DO...No I don't....

You should spend some more money on speakers Catch. Save up about 150$ and get some ok Mb Quartz or something.

I just need something to replace my busted speakers.

I want to know if you guys think the audio drifts would sound OK?

I dont need anything amazing. Just some replacements with a clear sound.

If all you want is a good sound and you aren't out for serious headache noise, then I am certain the Audiovox line will be more than sufficient.

Are 3 way speakers a major or minor improvement over 2 way speakers?

Generally, 3 way is more desirable because they have a separate woofer, mid range, and tweeter configuration...and you're not dependent on your woofer to produce your mid and high range sound....and vice versa. However, you're going to get what you pay for. A $40 set of 3 way speakers is going to sound like crap compared to $75 set of 2 ways.

I'm tellin' ya. Go to the Crutchfield website. They have a 'learn' section with everything you would ever need to know and then some.

I lovem.

They aren't top of the line or anything but for what I payed compared to what I had I think I got a great deal.

The sound is good. The bass is ok.

Thats the exact speaker I got except mine is a 150 watt.

For what I was looking for I am very pleased with what I got.

I can actually here my music pretty well from a good 75 yards away.

Thanks for all of your help too guys. I Appreciate it.

I got 4 Polk Audio db570's for about $200 total - they sounded awesome 2 years ago when I got them but now they're starting to lose it

I want to spend like $250-$300 on bad*** speakers - 5x7 or 6x8 is what my car fits

any suggestions anyone?

i've always vouched for kicker speakers/subs/amps. I went and spent 700 on 2 audiobahn subs n amp and the stuff didn't last very long.

My kickers tho it took me 4 years to blow them : and i listen to everything under the sun
