The Cardinals outside receivers are Marquis Brown and Michael Wilson. Brown has good speed, but Wilson is really a slow receiver. The advantage goes to Bland and Gilmore in covering the outside receivers.

Jourdan Lewis in the nickel ran a 4.54 at the NFL Combine. He ran a hand-timed 4.47 in his Pro Day. The Cardinals 3rd WR Rondale Moore is only 5'7", about 3" shorter than Lewis, but he ran a blazing 4.29 at his Pro day. Lewis could have some issues keeping up with Moore, if Dobbs can figure out how to use him. Fortunately for the Cowboys, Moore is only averaging about 4 catches per game over his career so far, for about 36 ypg. I wonder if the Cardinals will be smart enough to try to take advantage of the match-up on Sunday.

Will dobbs have time to throw to him?
Cards coaches have to be very good and innovative to compete, otherwise another boring mismatch.

We’ll see how our 18th ranked offense does against the Cardinals 18th ranked defense. Hopefully we attempt to stretch the field a little more and our redzone offense shows some improvement. Although the offense has been efficient it’s not championship caliber. We’ve been dependent on our defense and takeaways.

Will he have time in the pocket?

Let me correct that for you. Our #1 ranked Offense.

After the first time Dobbs is hit, he will begin to make business decisions.

I wonder how many teams are performing up to championship caliber after two games. No other team has a larger scoring margin because the Cowboys are #1 in scoring and #1 in preventing the opponent from scoring. This leads me to believe that no team is performing better, whether that is championship caliber or not.

I think alot of that is by design. Obviously we try to score every time we have the ball, but because the defense has been so good we are playing risk averse offensive football. There are more shots to take.

Also I think our offense played really well against that Jets defense. I've seen way too many episodes of complete disfunction when we go up against a dominant defense. I never had that feeling this game. We played patient football and put up points when we really needed to. For example, the drive after Wilson's house call was a gorgeous answer.

We will completely smother their offense, too many playmakers on this defense it's difficult to gameplan a defense that attacks from everywhere.
We give people no time and QBs no vision, it's a deadly combination.

Our offense just getting the motor started. Not even close to being warm yet.

But yeah, need to stretch the field. Cooks being back should help.

Let's see a quarter or so before we crown ourselves the winner!

It's about getting the ball out quick, guess we won't be going deep much!

I pray this happens
All levels of leadership have to have an element of challenge and insights to direct teams...don't worry, efficiency improves there over time. Forged in fire and came out steel.

Some fans will never be happy. The Cowboys scored 30 points and dominated time of possession against the 3rd best defense the Cowboys will probably play (Washington/San Francisco). Even with injuries to the line and missing 2nd receiver the Cowboys are averaging 35 points a game.
