The collapse of the Cardinals this year - from top team in the NFC undisputed...to this...is nearly as huge as the Eagles collapse.

Were they the undisputed top team in the NFC? They had the best record for a while, but I don't think anyone really claimed them as the best team. I never thought they were the best team even after they beat Dallas. I knew their schedule got a lot harder in the second half of the season. I thought they were a good, but not great team even with Palmer at the helm.

Todd Bowles is the best DC in the NFL - or was - but the second Seattle game broke him down I believe. For Arizona to lose like that, in the desert, with the division and HFA on the line, where they were unbeatable all season, by a score of 35-6...
