could carlos dunlap play defensive end in our 3-4 scheme (might have to put on 10-20 pounds) that way we will get good pass rush from his side? then on pass situations we can put him on the line next to ratliff at DT. Imagin ware, dunlap, ratliff, spencer all rushing the passer....there would be no need to blitz

but only if his work ethic is good, and he takes corrective critism well.

I'm even tempted to see if Dan Williams could play DE. The Ravens have Nagta at DE.

The Packers have Johnny Jolly at DE as well, and he's 6'3" 325lbs. They don't rely on those guys for pass rush, and neither do we.

He's known as a lazy finesse player. I don't think he would enjoy playing 5 tech and absorbing blockers too much.
