Both are still alive for a wildcard. Both have something to play for.

I would just as soon have Dallas win and Green Bay lose this weekend, and the Commander game mean nothing. Even if Dallas somehow blows home-field advantage, I STILL don't think that Green Bay will make it to the NFC Champ. game. It may not matter.
But just in case, I hope that that Philly loss was indeed one of those "good loss's" we needed to get re-grounded, re-committed and re-focused. We need badly to spank Carolina hard Saturday. I mean, a 30+ point win to get back into shape going into the playoffs.

Bottom line............every game from here on out is a "playoff game". And every game, all five hopefully, we're gonna' hafta' "show up" and PLAY to win.

Honestly... I think both Dallas and GB split their last 2 games. GB's last 2 games are division games... one of the two teams has to "bring it"

The doubtful Thomas in me fears that Dallas blew it by losing to Philly in such a winnable contest.

The playoffs basically start Saturday for Dallas.

Carolina is done, mathematically they are still alive, but that is about it. The Commanders will be done this weekend when they travel to Minny to play the Vikes. With a win, the Vikes get the 6th spot I think. I know for sure the Commanders will be eliminated with a Viking win and I dont see the Vikes blowing a home game that has been flexed to primetime. Season will be over for the Skins sunday night.

I dont see Dallas splitting their last 2 games.

Carolina with undrafted QB Matt Moore (who we released)

Commanders with freaking Todd Collins at QB (who???):lmao:

Really, if we lose to either one of these guys we are frauds, plain and simple. With 12 probowlers, we should beat these teams like a rented mule.:D

Well if we do lose one of the two.... all I want is GB to lose one of theirs. Then I wont give a damn about what we did in "regular" season ;)

Correct...............

I don't think, and I refuse to believe that what happened last Sunday dismisses the body of work delivered by Dallas all year. Technically, all we have is ONE LOSS. Because you can't count the Patriot game as a "disappointing", unexpected or "catastrophic" loss that we didn't anticipate.
So, counting backwards from last weekend, we have ONE, and only ONE loss that "pissed us off".

Fair enough?

Therefore, there's no evidence or precedent to think that Dallas WON'T blow Carolina out. Don't forget that we're PERFECT on the road this year. The two "loss's" were at home.

Now, who of you thought in June or July that Dallas would end up 14-2?? C'mon, lets see a show of hands...............Or even 13-3????? So, just throw a dart at any division game and "PRESTO", there's you loss or two.
Be thankful that one of the loss's didn't come from the ONLY real threat, the Giants.
THAT'S the spin I'm putting on all this. A win at Carolina will cure a lot of this insecurity and doubt. That's all it'll take. And, I haven't seen the spread, but I'd be surprised if it isn't at least 6 or 7 on the road.
Dallas WILL win this Saturday. It'll probably be REAL boring too, after all this new "excitement" over a healthy and much need "late season loss".
You'll see. It'll be fine. We'll be playing the Seahawks, at home, in the NFC Championship game. Remember where you heard it first...............

The problem is Green Bay's schedule. They play the Bears who can barely manage to get a freaking first down with Orton. The defense gave them 4 turnover and Urlacher was playing like a BEAST and the offense did absolutely nothing.

I have zero faith the Bears are going to beat Green Bay with freaking Orton at QB.

The last game is Detroit. Green Bay spanked them on Thankgiving and now that Detroit has been officially eliminated, I dont see them going to Lambeau and beat the Pack "on the frozen tundra".

Again, zero faith in the Lions to pull the upset.

The line is 11 right now, seems Vegas thinks the Philly game was a fluke also.

I have a little spin too.

We lost to Pats @ home
We lost to Eagles @ home

We almost lost to the Bills AWAY
We almost lost to the Lions AWAY

We were almost 10-4 at this point...

Making us
5-2 on the road
5-2 at home

Green Bay is not going to lose because they put to much pressure on a defense with that spread offense..over the course of 60 mins weaker opponents wilt. I saw them Sunday against the Rams....it was a game for a while...but the Rams could not keep pace. It looked a lot liked we looked earlier this year. And now they CAN run the ball....and from what I saw, probably as effective if not more effective than us.

We on the other hand are experiencing what I was afraid of. Teams have plenty of film on us and any defensive coordinaor worth his paycheck SHOULD be able to make TO invisible. Our inability to establish a consitstent running game has finally caught up with us...AND we despertaely need Terry Glenn (or Mile Austin, but obviously I would prefer Terry Glenn)...I saw this coming and Jason Garrett should have as well...chalk that up to inexperience. But we became to reliant on Romo...and this is still his 1st season as a full time starter....so do not be shocked that he himself is hitting a physical/mental wall

My point in all of this is as follows: We will not beat either of these teams by 30...they are both good defenses....they will both be at home...they will both make this their Super Bowl....both teams will be licking their chops to beat a team with 12 Pro Bowlers with everyone watching....we can and should win, but do NOT be dissapointed if we do not blow them out.

I also thought Romo and Garrett caved to TO last week...and it cost us a game. We left points on the board early in the game trying to FORCE the ball to TO. TO needs to help a young QB and inexerienced offensive coordinator by telling them to "call the game to win and whatever my numbers are at the end of the game will be fine with me" Maybe Ray Sherman can help in this regard.

One of the first times all year I thought they were forcing the ball to TO. It almost worked however, the 2nd play of the game should have been an 85 yard TD, just overthrown by about 6 feet.

Dam, that could have changed the whole game right there.

Which makes the Giants loss at home against Todd Collins look even worse. The Giants better beat Buffalo this weekend buddie, or.......If they stay at 9 do they have the tie breaker against any team?

I don't think so. Maybe the Skins, but definitely not the Vikings or Saints.

I don't see GB losing either of their final two games. The Bears suck and Detroit is worse than the Dolphins on the road.
