Why are two NFC teams on CBS?

The Texans and Titans are playing on FOX today. Someone mentioned a few weeks ago on this board that it had something to do with the London games.

Same reason there were 2 AFC teams on Fox a couple of weeks ago.

I would imagine t has something to do with Fox getting a 3rd time slot today. Even with direct TV, I can usually only watch a 1 and 4:25 game on fox. Maybe they had to give CBS one of their games today to make up for it.

Which is?

Which is the NFL decided (in agreement with the networks) that they would no longer be 100% beholden to AFC on CBS and NFC on Fox (with the road team being the determining factor) for scheduling purposes. This is not the first game to change networks (I believe Bills-Patriots 2 weeks ago were the first as they were on Fox).

This Thanksgiving, Bears-Lions will be on CBS (in fact, all 6 teams playing that day are NFC teams.)
