Lol, we are all at the end of our ropes here with Romo watch 2017. Thats fair, but still Id like to see us making similar maneuvers, trying to upgrade where we are lacking.

I guess some teams when they need a DE go out and get one.

Just cause they traded for him doesnt make it good.

Benson Mayowa had a better season in 12 games this yr then Ealy has ever had his his career never missing a game.

This didn't cost the Patriots a 2nd rd pick. They swapped their 2nd for Carolina's 3rd. In other words they traded down a few spots.

Obviously any one of us would have been happy with that. I guess Carolina after signing Peppers no longer wanted Ealy.

Not really. I'd try to get informed on the player since I don't know much about the guy. I wouldn't be too low or too high.

What they did was take the 3rd rounder in case Ealy didn't work out. That was the smart part of the trade. This beats FA where you get NOTHING for acquiring a player. And if he doesn't work out, you're stuck.
