The guy had 5 sacks last year (14 in a 3 year career)....this is where the rueage is?

Lol, we are all at the end of our ropes here with Romo watch 2017. Thats fair, but still Id like to see us making similar maneuvers, trying to upgrade where we are lacking.

Patriots acquired DE Kony Ealy and a third-round pick from the Panthers in exchange for a second-round selection.

I guess some teams when they need a DE go out and get one.
Just cause they traded for him doesnt make it good.

Benson Mayowa had a better season in 12 games this yr then Ealy has ever had his his career never missing a game.

Man I would have done that deal. Smart. I'd trade our first for clowney. I don't think any rookie pick at #28 will have that significant of an impact

They drop 8 spots in the draft and get a solid young veteran end with his best football still in front of him.

That's why they're the Patriots.

Yeah but we have Tyrone Crawford and his contract!

That's why we're the Cowboys.

It's funny, Kony Ealy and his 5 sacks last season gets knocked by the same people who try to defend Tyrone Crawford and his 4.5 sacks and laughable contract!

:lmao:
Lol ealy is slated to make 1.1 mil this season so his 5 sacks for that cap number I take everyday not to mention he's getting into his "prime" and a "contract year" this is when you see players like him have 10-12 sack years

But no let's spin this by laughing at a terrible contract we have for a player who is a JAG that should be getting paid 1.1 mill

This didn't cost the Patriots a 2nd rd pick. They swapped their 2nd for Carolina's 3rd. In other words they traded down a few spots.

Obviously any one of us would have been happy with that. I guess Carolina after signing Peppers no longer wanted Ealy.

Yeah, really. We haven't had any shortages of big, mediocre pass rushers.

I think the Panthers got the better end of this trade, actually.
I can guarantee if we'd signed or done this trade everyone would be like...."Championship"

And be complaining about dumpster diving and not getting us a war daddy.

Having cake and eating it too with some...

And, unlike these clowns, I remember the guy who could have been the Super Bowl MVP if his team had won the game.

Im not comparing him to Crawford, im comparing him to mayowa.

Ill do one even better then using Mayowa's whole yr. Mayowa got deactivated week 10-12.

from wk 13-17
17 tackles 4.5 sacks 1 ff 6qb pressures

You'd probably be singing a different tune if we picked him up.

Something something...Marinelli working magic..something something..rushmen
Not really. I'd try to get informed on the player since I don't know much about the guy. I wouldn't be too low or too high.
