I don't admit it to people for many reasons but I actually modeled for a while. I'm hardly ugly although I have goten older - and everything that comes with it. I have been married for over a decade now to a fantastic woman who is a great mother to our kids, a compassionate person, a passionate lover, and - in my opinion - absolutely beautiful. Before we met, I dated a few women who were models and who had bodies that would blow men away. Most of them were so hung up on their looks that any kind of conversation was predicated on physicial appearances. It's a crass thing to say and the anonymity of the internet allows it, but some of them weren't good for much of anything other than a good time. In other words, they were NOT the marrying type.
There are DEFINITELY things that are more important than physicial appearance. It isn't even close. Beauty fades.
And although there's no accounting for taste, Jessica Simpson does almost nothing for me. Carrie Underwood wins that one hands down. Has she been working out like a maniac or what? She looks like she's dropped 20 pounds.
