Carson Palmer retiring

I don't think I've ever seen Palmer's name associated with the Hall of Fame. He had a solid career.

Good QB, not a HOF'er in my book. It's the Hall of Fame not the Hall of Very Good. But again no shame in having his career.

Not 100% sure he gets in the Hall of Very Good either... maybe on the Hall of Very Good Veterans Committee ballot, lol. Still he had a fine career and everyone should watch this guy as an example of amazing arm strength. He was probably playing at 80% throwing power these last few years and still made some incredible throws other guys could only dream about.

he never really got down to the nitty gritty until his last few years; he could have been nearly great if he had put in the same effort when he still had that cannon
