Not sure how you can come out of this draft and not take an OT.

We have an OT problem. Steele is scuffling and there is no guarantee he'll get better. And counting on Tyron Smith to stay healthy in 2024?
The linebacker position should be priority #1.

OL, OL, OL. You can't count on Tyron Smith another year and Steele is looking mediocre.

LB, frankly, is a position I think you could "fix" in FA. Plus, when you look at the locks, is there even a LB that would be BPA at 30 in the first round? Although I wouldn't mind taking a guy like Trotter in Round 2 or Eichenberg in the 3rd.

Tyler is the natural LT once Tyron moves on. Bass would move to LG.

Tyler is an all pro at LG. He's likely just a decent LT. And frankly, the fact they haven't shifted him outside at any point this season when Smith was hurt should tell you they are liking him at LG more and more.

Bass is a total project. If he were that good, instead of running Edoga out there at LT to get whipped, they'd have moved Tyler to LT and Bass at LG.

OT is the smartest pick late in the first round and when yuo look at how the draft likely will fall, there is way more chance an OL or even DL will be BPA there than a LB. Forcing a LB in the first would be kinda dumb. Trotter is likely the best of the pure LB group and he's pretty much thought of as a 2nd round guy. Unless you think Dallas Turner is a LB but he's likely off the board in the first 12-14 picks. Edgerrin Coper? Likely a 2nd round guy too.

It’s early in the process, but I agree, there’s no off ball LBs that blow me away in this draft. I assume we sign a low priced vet FA at LB and RB so we can still generally go BPA those first 3 picks. Won’t be OTs we can afford in FA that fill the hole though. That combined with what is shaping up to be an excellent tackle class makes OT the most likely.
