Texas guy. Holds a lot of NCAA passing records. Doesn't fit prototypical NFL QB mold. I'm not one to say "sign him now", but I do think he makes an intriguing developmental guy. Not sure it's worth a roster spot, though.

Loved watching him play at Houston. Put up mad numbers..

Better than McGee. But we know that. Our coaching staff however doesnt.

Read they are trying to sneak him onto the PS. Kept John Beck as the 3rd QB (because of experience)...

He only threw 16 passes in the Preseason and he was 8 of 16 6 ypa and 0td 0 int.

He did nothing down here ti lit it up in practice either to think he was going to do anything but be on the PS

In fairness, it should be pointed out that in both the second and last preseason games, PR Trindon Holiday ran punts back for tds right before Keenum was supposed to come into the game. By the time Houston got the ball back Kubiak simply wanted to get the games over with.

I think most people expected Keenum would be a project type guy.

Def would be a project. Isn't that what McGee is? A failed project

I agree - the McGee project seems like a failure. boot him & get a new project guy to try out.

same could be said for Romo's college career.

Indeed. Did anyone see if Chandler Harnish was cut by the Colts. Think he would be a good project.

I am not a UH fan or Alumni I went to a Division 1aa up the road about an hour. I liked Kase a lot I hope he has a chance to work on his game. I just think he needs to spend at least a year on the Practice Squad.

Colt Brennan part deux.

Rubbish. Keenum has more intangibles in his little finger than Brennan had in his whole worthless body.

Keenum was a good college quarterback, probably would've done well in an AQ conference, not just in Conference USA.

He comes from the Art Briles quarterback lineage that recruited Kevin Kolb, Case Keenum and RGIII in succession, he's at least as capable as Kolb.
