CB Early

Yes, that was a good start. Osa is a beast and Golston appears to be able to play. Just hope we don't do the usual Jerry thing and start drafting CB's and WR's instead of continuing building the main component of super contenders, the DLine.
Exactly how many defensive linemen do you think we need? And what defensive linemen? Im not saying we dont need them, I just want to hear what you think we need

Are you going back to " We took Lamb and Diggs when we needed DT and S" again?

And is pointless if your DLine doesn't disrupt.

Gally was turning into a quality player before getting hurt and Osa is 2nd among all rookie DLmen in pressures. Would love to add quality depth but do you not think those 2 dudes are a quality starting pair at DT?

For some reason I think it was Denver’s receivers & Bridgewater who looked damm good , Quinn didn’t have much in the box and our interior got blown up and that includes 55 who I would imagine will depart in FA land next season .

For whatever reason he’s really slow to the ball. 11 jumps around him to make plays. OSA is quality , glad they drafted him and not any NFC East team.

I don’t know what happen to LVE…looked like a star in the making as a rookie now he’s playing tentative and can’t get off blocks. Was hoping to see more of Cox this year but he got hurt.

I think Cox can be special . Really unfortunate injury and I guess it was special teams he was hurt . LVE had a heck of couple of yrs here then injuries took a toll .

Gallimore was all potential, and no discernible NFL production. He's no sure thing. Odighizuwa has also flashed, but he's not enough of a disruptor against the pass at this point. They need a guy who will push the pocket. Right now, that guy isn't on the roster. It's not to say that those two can't develop into a player like that, but I would keep adding talent there until it's found.

I literally just posted Osa is 2nd amongst all DLmen in pressures for a rookie…

In watching the games, he flashes. There are too many times where the middle gets stonewalled and doesn't press the pocket. I see Gregory getting through - I don't see the same with the others.

The interior can definitely stand to be upgraded. I would look to go there before I would ever consider corner on this team.

The interior can definitely stand to be upgraded. I would look to go there before I would ever consider corner on this team.

Ok, well the high number of pressures Osa has isn’t the problem. Dude is a quality young player on the rise.

I know this might not be popular opinion…but Diggs is coming back down to earth. The INT #s inflate how good he is IMO. He’s bottom 5 in the NFL in yards given up as a CB and has multiple games with drive killing penalties.

He’s solid and will continue to develop and hopefully get better…but in a loaded CB class we need to target another CB early IMO.
Unless, it's the best available player, don't see it as a 1st rd pick. You can never have enough corners, but they just used two day 2 picks at the position in which neither has yet to play any significant defensive snaps. In my opinion, always follow the money. Which position can they draft can replace a high priced veteran? DLaw.

Unless Josh Ball is more then you can hope for so far he’s not played a snap the tackle position concerns more then CB. For the 140 million $ QB to take you places in the playoffs what happened against Denver needs to be the exception not the rule.

Osa yes. Galley unknown.

Do you not think Joseph/Diggs are a quality starting pair at CB?

I think book is still out on both…Diggs has great ball skills but he’s bottom 5 in the league in yards given up and penalties…he’s not nearly as good as the media is blowing him up to be.

Diggs = Osa
Joseph = Galley

Diggs = Osa
Joseph = Galley

Ehh…not sure I’d give Joseph that praise yet as we haven’t seen him play a snap.

I thought pre injury Gally was developing into someone who can be an above average starter.
