even if dre falls to us do u think jerry will bite or is he settled with carr?

I think it depends on how the draft falls. I would not remove anyone from the board. If anything we are in a position we don't have to reach for a CB.

one of the reasons we really needed carr was the lack of quality at corner. kirkpatrick and jenkins have bust written all over them.

I hope we take the best player available, if that happens to be a corner and we get a surefire starter for the next 10 years I'm happy to let Jenkins walk in 2013.

I would prefer to work on the o-line, or even the d-line, but if BPA is a CB, take em !!!

I can see that for Kirkpatrick, but Jenkins was the best all-around CB at the combine, even better than Claiborne and has shutdown big time receivers while in the SEC.

No way we take dre. Especially after drug charge. We got our man for the next 5 years

Dre or decastro and we are golden....
Other needs include a shifty slot wr and a play maker at safety

No doubt.

Will Dallas draft Barron in the 1st could be the question.

I was wondering the same. I dont know much about him like if he is worth taking in first. If decastro gone wouldnt Glenn be next choice? that be lots of $$ in our secondary wouldnt it?

Dont think they ever had intention of drafting a DB 1st round anyway. If by some miracle Clayborne fell, other than that no.

There is going to be no CB worthy of the pick at #14 - Claiborne will be gone.

We could still draft CB but only at the end of the first round if we make a big move down the draftboard. We still do need another CB with Jenkins approaching FA next year and the team unlikely to ink him for a monster deal given his history of low effort tackling and injury.

I suspect our starting corners in 2013 will be Carr and a draft pick from the 2012 draft.

Unless something very unusual happens then no we won't go CB/DB in the first. At least not at 14. Look for OL or front seven first. They would look hard at any playmaker though.

Id bet my
salary on an OLBer...

I wouldnt. Dont think they'll be one worthy at 14. More likely DeCastro or D Line.

I think it will be Cox or DeCastro (even though I would love to see Mercilus). A corner is far down the "need" list right now.
