A 4.52 on the notoriously rigged, er, fast VT track?

Pretty poor vertical and broad jump, too.

But everyone says he's such a fast player on the field. I'm skeptical.

Isn't he suppose to be more quick than fast?

He ran a 4.58 at combine, so this is about what I expected.

I think we could target him in the 2nd if we go rb/wr in 1. He is a good football player on the field.

Lets face it, Jacque Reeves had 4.3 speed and he had to play off his receiver 10 yards.

4.5 speed really does not scare me off if he can play football. I would venture a guess that he could smoke Anthony Henry and yet Henry plays pretty good at the corner spot.

By the way, this is not a track competition, these guys should have to run the 40 with a helmet, shoulder pads and cleats. Then we might have something.

Better numbers for him but nothing jumps off the charts as impressive. Still, everytime I watched him actually play, he jumped out at me as a football player. I dont' know if that will translate into being good on the NFL fields or not but, still, he always seemed to be a player to me.

Not one of my favorite CB's in the draft and wouldn't touch him in the first, but I'd give him a look in the second if he were there.

Guys, you're letting combine numbers influence you too much. The kid can play football. Plain and simple.
