The Cowboys haven't had a window since the first of the Triplets retired. They've proven that by never getting beyond the divisional round.
Fans have just imagined a few over the last 20 years.
No, I don't think the Eagles are a joke but I am not shaking in my boots because they made a bunch of moves. Sorry, but they went into the offseason with 3 1st round picks and came away with 1 rotational DL and an overpaid WR. I think that is not an effective use of those resources. It may pay off in the future but I would be disappointed if I were an eagles fan.And Reddick and Brown.
The reality is that the Eagles saw their needs and went out and added clear improvements over what they had. They were desperate for a WR opposite Smith to replace Reagor. Brown is a massive upgrade at WR. They were inconsistent at getting after the QB last year. They went out and added Reddick who was one of the 2-3 best edge rushers available in FA. Again, a big improvement. They had a black hole at CB opposite Slay. Bradberry ain't great, he's pretty average, but he's an upgrade on what they had.
I am not predicting they win the division (I still can't trust Hurts) but any fan sitting here and thinking the Eagles are some joke team is just doing that pump your chest out, COWBOYZ! thing. If Hurts actually is pretty decent, they are going to be a legitimate threat.
They definitely improved.
They are the competition in the NFC East but I am not ready to say they are better than Dallas.
I know people are down on the Cowboys' offseason moves but I like what they have done. I actually feel like we got better at DE with the Gregory "miss". Definite blessing in disguise.
I actually like that we got rid of some of the loser energy from this team. CW, Gregory, Collins and yes, Cooper all had loser energy. People wanted to get more disciplined, well, they did it.
MAYBE we are slightly worse at wr. Maybe. We shall see the net effect of losing Cooper and Wilson. Wilson was the best WR on our team the last 6-8 weeks of last season (minus the SF game).
It is up to Ceedee to step up in his 3rd year and fill the #1 role. He has the talent to do it, now just needs to do it.

Believe it or not, we addressed our needs too. Maybe not how Madden trained fans would but we did. We addressed our loser energy and discipline problems. We added more talent to our team on defense and got tougher on the OL.
All of those things don't feel like they happened because we haven't seen it yet. I feel good about where we are as a team.
They have you hook, line, and sinker again, don't they? The Cowboys are better then the Eagles and don’t underestimate the Commanders defense. Wentz is better then Hurts. The Eagles have no players that are even close to Dak, Parsons and Diggs.

We take turns winning the division in the NFC East.I don't know about them winning the division,
but how we can sit idly by and not sign any free agents while our rivals improve
is very frustrating to me.
The Eagles are making an attempt to win something while we're busy admiring the job we do while collecting comp picks and cap space.
Philly is going to be a problem for anybody even with Hurts at QB.
They are making a real effort to improve all around and they were a playoff team last year.
They're winning the division this year.
Do you think your Eagles sweep the NFCE this year?
The teams are pretty even. The division winner likely comes down to their games against each other. No, we attempted to fill our needs. Again, this is the warm body theory at work. Because we signed or drafted someone, ergo, we fixed that need.
We have bigger questions about our needs being filled than Philly, by far. They fixed their biggest needs with AJ Brown, Hassan Reddick and Bradberry. You pretty much know what you are going to get.
Our biggest needs were filled by draft picks that we have no idea how they will play. Smith is a raw OL prospect. You positive that he's solved the LG spot? You know how he'll play? Tolbert will just make us all forget about Wilson and Cooper?
This is why the Cowboys typically have flawed rosters year after year after year. They try to fill clear needs with JAGs and draft picks and anyone with a brain knows that the hit rate isn't high enough in either category to actually solve many of your roster issues. I expect 2022 to be no different. They are talented enough to not suck but I suspect flaws in the roster will rear their head again and put a cap on what this team will accomplish in 2022.

I dont think Bradbury moves the needle much on that.
Philadelphia had an easy schedule last season as well. They did not beat any quality teams. The Eagles have brought in some high priced free agents at defensive end and cornerback but I don’t think any of those guys are pro bowl talents. AJ is good but he is not special. They overpaid for him because the Eagles do not have the quarterback to consistently get him the ball. I love the Georgia boys as draft prospects but Davis will take time to adjust and statistically he was Georgia’s 3rd best defensive tackle. Dean is a product of that front four, small and has not worked out. That is a red flag to me.One, they have a very easy schedule. Two, even with Hurts kinda stinking, they won 9 games when people thought they would suck last year coming off a dreadful 2020 season. Three, they have arguably the best OL in football which can cure a lot of offensive issues. Four, they had clear needs at WR, CB and rushing the passer and went out and addressed all three with significant improvements. Five, they believe in the lines carry you and as noted they have the best OL in football and they restocked their DL adding a first round pick at DT and then going out and adding a pure pass rusher in Hassan Reddick.
Yes, AJ Brown is a significant improvement for them at WR. They no longer have to rely on disappointing Reagor to be the other WR next to Smith. It's a massive jump from Reagor to Brown. I have no idea if Hurts will be good but going from Reagor to Brown is a huge help for Hurts.
People are being silly if they don't think Philly really improved this offseason. I have no idea if this can carry them to a division title over us but anyone thinking they aren't a very real and viable threat is being a Cowboys homer.
I don't call it homerism, i call it knowing what I am seeing from the players we acquired vs what we "lost". You can downplay our acquisitions but I feel like we have a very good chance to be better. That's homerism to say we are better at DE by Gregory leaving. Fowler is a JAG. He's not better than Gregory. Williams? Who the heck knows, he's a 2nd round rookie. "Maybe" we might be better but right now, that's just wishful thinking. And let's note, even with Parsons having an unreal 2021 season in terms of his pass rush success, this team was still basically average at rushing the passer. Can you say with certainty that this team is now much better at getting after the QB than last year's team?
Maybe we are slightly worse at WR? So Tolbert and Washington is basically the same as Cooper and Wilson? LOL, I love your enthusiasm.
