You see this with just about every CB coming out of college these days, they get away with it more in college. It'll get out of his system in training camp when Rod gets in his face a few times.

I wonder if it will hurt his game?

One thing that was great to see is a cornerback with hands and awareness to anticipate when the ball is coming.

With those two skills, he's an interception waiting to happen, and if he keeps that up, quarterbacks will likely be looking elsewhere to make their throws.

This defense can sorely use a defensive back with his skills.

Who are these WRs?

That wasn't particularly impressive considering the fact that they are nobodies and the QB seemed awful.

He's gonna have to learn how not to grab as much in the NFL but his ability to stick with receivers is amazing. You can see why some argue he was the best cover CB in the draft.

From what I saw last year, a lot of the stuff he was doing they are not calling as often as they were. Our corners were very handsy but rarely got flagged for it. Unless the league goes back to being nitpicky about illegal contact, he should be OK.

Lot of underthrown passes but still looks promising for the db...
