Not like there is a lot of top comps fending the kid off.
There is currently a wide-open starting gig available to anyone that wants to fill it.
We are actively seeking a DB that can do what Brown did, how he played in this defense and the responsibilities he performed well.
Well enough that we see now how some simple assignments that get performed routinely by a player like Brown, can be exploited when no longer part of the defense, the equation.
We have try out time, we know we are going post season so does it really matter who we face that first wild card game?
Not really, but most important is getting this team back in line and finding out who is going to be doing what, that's how raw the injuries have left us.
We have the depth to take this hit.

Dak needs to show his game now, this is the test and don't care if Hurts is out, Hurts doesn't play on defense so let's let this offense learn how they can put up points vs this very good Eagles D.
If we can accomplish that much tomorrow this team is getting warmed up for the rest of the season.
This offense has the ability to cover while this defense is rebuilding some critical areas at the moment basically.
