New Cowboys CB Noah Igbinoghene: “I know it’s a very popular organization. Most popular football team in America. I’m blessed to be here. This is an amazing opportunity. I’m hoping to thrive here. … I feel like I honestly needed (a fresh start). My career hasn’t really gone up to my expectations. I’m still young. I’m 23 years old. I get a new fresh start. … The stuff I went through in Miami, it built me. It built my character. I needed to go through that. All that stuff built me for this moment right here.”

I wouldn't say popular. Cowboys are anything but most popular. Many people follow the cowboys, but there may be more that despise them. Or is it that cowboys are the team that people love to hate?
Anyway, I'd say the cowboys are the most intriguing of all professional teams.

Most popular and most hated.

Which makes them the most wealthy.

This was a smart move, particularly because he is young..

it was cut Joseph and get nothing or make this trade and try a reclamation project on a physically talented guy. At least this way there is a chance to get a player.

Usually, when you get a guy that has failed elsewhere, it typically doesn’t work out, so I’m not expecting to get much… however, the fact that we have Quinn here trying to make something out of him gives me some hope, because Quinn is a magician with DB’s and he has specific things he wants them to do in the game. Iggy has the physical traits to be good in this system, so there is a shot.

That Iggy has taken responsibility for his failure in Miami and says he should have done things differently, also gives hope that he might can figure it out.

I hope he can because physically, he is talented. I still see it as a long shot though. Without the trade we would have just cut Joseph anyway, so might as well give it a shot.

Like Lance…only 23. Worth taking a flier on a guy when maybe they were going to release #1 anyway.

Sometimes a player needs a kick in the arse and change of scenery which doesn't mean just the physical environment, but a new coach who might get something more out of him. Al Harris has shown to be a very good coach with these DBs... so maybe that will be the thing that lits his pilot light. Needs a lot of work though. Still surprised how he got to be a 1st rounder.....oh wait, wasn't Taco a 1st rounder too..?.....LOL....never mind.. teams do screw up.

Listening to him for about 5 seconds and you know he doesn't lack intelligence.

He says he wants to be a servant to the Dallas Cowboys.

This is one of the more impressive interviews I've seen from a player. Even more impressive is the fact that I liked him going into that draft.

He's still a cornerback though so obviously he isn't a good person.

Yeah, I mentioned Quinn, but I should’ve brought up Al Harris too, good point…the guy is a really good coach.

And yeah, Miami and Dallas both screwed up with these two picks, even if one (or both) pan out now.

Along those lines, he looks more like a safety to me versus a corner. Maybe Quinn can get something out of him in that regard.

As it turns out, Joseph is better inside. The Cowboys have Bland, Lewis, and Mukuamu who can all play the slot. They didn’t need Joseph on the inside.

On the other hand, the Cowboys are somewhat thin on the outside, with the two starters, and only a rookie (Scott) backing them up, plus another guy (Wright) that is injured.

The Dolphins have enough outside corners, but really need help at the slot position. It is possible that the trade makes both teams better. If neither player works out, neither team has really lost anything since both players were on the chopping block after being disappointing high draft picks that were headed toward being released.

Yep, that’s about it.

Seems like a young man, with his head on straight.

He's not a rapper so that's a plus. LOL
Give him a shot at it, and see what he can do.
