Also, just one (1) pass allowed of over 25 yards his entire senior season.

We've discussed this on others threads but Surtain is very, very good w technique.

Grimes gave him a very good push off clear out and flat beat him.
But most of his tape is nearly flawless in technique.

The issue is he doesn't always play the ball.
He plays the man and will make every catch tough.

He's also really good versus the run.
Some teams think he'd be an elite safety.

I think he compares well with Byron Jones as do many scouts that make that comp.

Surtain was blanketing everyone in the first video I just watched. Grimes got away with a push-off. NFL would flag that all day.

Surtain is the best corner in the draft.
