Free agent CB Phillip Buchanon revealed that he's scheduled to visit the Commanders on Monday.

Buchanon was recently released by a Lions team with the worst collection of corners in the league. Should he sign on with the Commanders, he'd be limited to nickel-back duties and perhaps punt returns.

I remember reading an article in Sports Illustrated focused on our 2002 draft, and how there was heated arguments over taking Buchannon over Roy Williams. Zimmer and Jerry really wanted Roy. Don't remember who wanted Buchannon.

Man I hope they sign him up. That'd be another corner who sucks in coverage and could be beaten repeatedly by our receivers.
