I can’t help but to feel that the Cowboys will be playing catch-up after getting into a hole early. I won’t be shocked if they start out 0-2 having to play two teams from the last two Super Bowls with two great quarterbacks.

I think it’s going to take a little while for Dak to get use to no Coop or Gallup.

No prediction of any upsets unless we are favored at Minn.

All 5 losses we will probably be underdogs . And why predicting wins vs TB and at LA don’t follow suit with this analysis.

1-1 would be awesome. And 4-4 is very possible heading into bye as we will be underdogs in 4 of these games, TB,Cinn, at LA &Phi.

And then right after bye go to GB and Minn, 2 more games we could be underdogs. 5-5 is a hopeful scenario.

Good news schedule is much more favorable after that with only 2 playoff teams with Phi and Tenn. potential split of those.

It’s really tough to see more than 10 or 11 wins . And that’s not considering any bad games we have being upset by a lesser team or our divisional foes improved.

i can be 12-5 or could be picking in the top 10 again,so many things have to go right for us to even win the NFCE.lack of FA spending means we have to completely rely on untested Rookies to step up and play really well to even compete with the Eagles.

There is a design there as it is written to attract casual Dallas Cowboy fans.
Eagles writer also picked them to go 12-5 BTW. Even though Vegas says 8.5 Wins.

They'll adjust the line as they go but they can't start far off or money will flood in and they won't be able to balance.
They are far more accurate than any individual ever will be, which is why they stay in business and others write articles for a living.

And precisely, CBS has built a design a team base platform to speak to fans.
Nothing wrong with it but it is going to be rosier than other takes intentionally.
Patrik is pretty realistic generally so just wanted to clarify that as it was being hinted by many he was just fluff piecing it.

You're right. They want a balance in bets, that doesn't always coincide with results, but most of the time it does. Remember that Thanksgiving game back in 2015? The 3-7 Cowboys VS the 10-0 Panthers, and the Cowboys open up -6. I think by the start of the game it was Dallas -2.

But it does continue to amaze me how Vegas can get that balance.
