#11 Haasan - think this is too high
#27 Engram - after combine sounds right, I wouldn't be upset if he was BPA at 28
#33 Takk - I am not a big fan, I don't see evidence he is special
#61 Riley - Sounds about right few off the LOS LB in draft but he has the tools to succeed. I'm a fan.
#72 Conley - this seems low, I wouldn't be upset if second pick. Needs to get stronger.
#81 Willis - I think this is about right
#87 S J. Jones - Moving up, darn. Can't find much not to like about him
#90 Darboh - I'd draft him sooner, strong, physical, fast and catches the ball well
#154 Harlow - about right, was hoping he'd be there for our 6th pick like he was before the update
#183 Gideon - another LB that jumped up in rankings. He moves well. Tested well.
#202 Hill - I'm a big fan. Like how he gets to line of scrimmage on runs. Decent coverage
#203 A. Jones - tested well. Best thing about his team. Special teams player. Glad he moved up but sad he might not be where we'd like him. Go Miners!
#243 Thompson - great coverage, bad tackler. But he has the thing that's harder to teach. He gets bigger could be a willing tackler.

Who surprised you?
What are your thought?

I'm fine taking Engram at 28, because he could line up anywhere with that kinda speed.
Tied for 5th fastest time (4.42) among all receivers at the combine.
A two time captain...safe pick IMO.

Not sure why Gareon Conley is a 3rd round pick now (72).
He had very good numbers at the combine except for the bench (11), but he's a corner not a safety.
Would be happy to snag him at 60.

Conley will go before the 3rd round. I'm thinking within the first 10 picks of round 2 and it wouldn't surprise me if he had a better career than his more heralded CB teammate.

Willis at 81 is nuts. This guy's got Charles Tapper potential.

Conley needs to be our pick with a trade down with Cleveland. What kind of nonsense is it that a 4.4 corner that's 6'0 tall with 33 inch arms and a top 3 3 cone time from a big school with good film is a third rounder? :lmao2:Hell, if we can't trade down I'd take him at 28. He's much better than Eli Apple from last year who was a top 15 pick

That is exactly my thinking. He didn't have his hand in the dirt before he ran his routes but he was effective. Nothing is worst for a defense than knowing what's coming and still can't stop it. Line him up in trips. Didn't know he was a captain. RKG cherry on top.

Agreed that Conley tested extremely well. Bench doesnt matter much for corners. Did find a study that said corners that do well on the bench in the combine usually rise. Didn't say anything about falling.

BB at dallascowboys.com has a first round grade on Willis.

He scored a 140.8 Sparq score, which in that metric scored higher than 94.4% of NFL DE's who had the same measurable data available. The four most telling measures of success for a DE are weight, 40, 3 cone, and broad. He killed it. He was pretty productive yet you don't see that athleticism translate on tape. At least I haven't.

Agreed on Conley. He's more fluid. Saw Lattimore get beat more.

I see what you did there. Man, it'd be nice if Tapper didn't suck when healthy.
