I dunno if it was just me or not but the CBS games this week looked MUCH better then the FOX games. I had the Carolina game and the Chiefs game and the Chiefs game was magnitudes more clear in HD then the Fox HD game. This is much different then what I have previously thought about the two broadcasters. Usually the CBS games I get are just garbage looking in comparison to the fox games

Also, Don't know if anyone picked this up but CBS has this cool little thing in their score bar. Not sure how to explain it but is a cool little graphic that shows you where the teams are at on the field in the other games. They have the typical arrow for possession but off to the side they have a 50 yard line and they put another arrow appropriately on either side, going either direction depending on where the team currently has the ball. Not sure if that is a sufficient explanation but I thought it was a great idea and can see fox getting their own version of it really soon.

It may have been your signal. The FOX games in my area looked fine.

I found one thing amusing about Austin on Sunday. The CBS affiliate broadcast the Titans/Jaguars game instead of the Texans/Chiefs game. They wanted the Vince Young connection to Austin to boost their ratings.

I was talking to a guy from Houston and he said they show a few of the titans games each year because of the holdovers who still follow them. The Vince Young angle probably helped.

I believe that's because CBS is the only network thus far that has opted for 1080i (which will only become evident if you have a capable screen). Fox broadcasts at 720p.

Yeah the Commanders vs Dolphins game at my house was freaking awesome.

Fox picture, sound, and everything just isn't as good as CBS. I dont know if its where I live but CBS is superior.

The crowd noise too on CBS sounds like a College game.

I thought FOX looked better than CBS on Sunday, at least during the 1 o'clock games. I had New England v NYJ on CBS and Philly v GB on FOX. Maybe it was the yellows and greens of GB, but the colors popped more than those on the CBS broadcast.

And yes, I saw the yard markers on the scoreboard scroll on CBS.
