Not exactly sure who Jared Dubin is, but this 1 has some interesting picks. He has us going with Njoku at 28.

David Njoku, TE, Miami: The Cowboyshave needs all over their defense. You know this, I know this, But they’ve also shown they are not at all afraid of just taking the best guy on the board, and Njoku has a chance to be special. Dallas loves two tight end sets anyway, and Jason Witten is entering the final year of his deal (and maybe his career). You could do a whole lot worse than having Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Dez Bryant, Njoku and that offensive line for the next 5-10 years.

I actually would be ok with this...I am not sold on Swaim, Rico, etc....we will need someone at TE once Witten hangs up the cleats...this kid if JUST the type of player that would make Dak look better

I think we'd take Harris in that situation

I'd rather wait until the 2nd to get a TE and hope we get another Fasano, Bennett or Escobar.

It's really kind of sad, Fasano and Bennett are solid players, but Garrett/Linehan just do not know how to use two TEs effectively.

I just don't see us going TE. I think there may be something with Rico and Swaim is decent as well. Not in the 1st with glaring needs at DB and DL.

Njoku>Harris,Takk, Watt, Lawson, Conley, Moreau, Tre White, Budda

Unless I'm missing someone those defenders are more or less the best 8 left on the board and I am taking Njoku over all of them hands down.

The DE's available all have ugly warts and the Jones and Moreau injuries really killed the CB depth. Going offense in the 1st shouldn't out of the question at all

cowboys have already interviewed Howard and Njoku and are working out Shaheen.I wont be surprised if both of visit the Star. Its very likely they will pick wither if they fall to us at 28 which is is still unlikely.

I think a lot of people here are underestimating the value they put on TE, particularly with a 2nd year QB that needs a reliable safety valve. I'll be really surprised if they dont pick one first three rounds.

We have a veteran TE that's very close to retirement and no one behind him. If we take a super talented TE, which is a central cog of this offense, and then have them getting used to our system while not being that central focus that doesn't sound like a bad outcome.

If we take a TE at 28 there will be riots, pitchforks, a tar n-feathers festival, and we'll tape Jerruh's buns together!!!!:yourock:

I agree with that completely... BPA all the way. However, I'm not sold on Njoku at all.

Man I like his talent a lot.

He looks like Dez at TE..

Just the type of vertical threat at the TE position that would make the entire offense better...
