12:52 pm Cowboys LB Keith Brooking is third on the club in sacks with three. Coach Wade Phillips said Brooking has great timing and feel for how to get to the opposing team's quarterback. Brooking has also caused pressure when his man in coverage has stayed in to block.

12:46 pm In the past two games, there has been a real struggle for the offense on third down. Coach Wade Phillips said they have been looking at all angles but this is the third week in a row they have played a team ranked in the top ten in third-down defense. The Raiders are ranked seventh overall.

12:43 pm Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said the Raiders still have the vertical passing game. "As long as Al Davis owns the team, the Raiders will throw the ball down the field." It's funny to note that the Raiders leading receiver is TE Zack Miller with 34 catches.

12:40 pm It looks like Cowboys QB Tony Romo will be good to go this week against the Raiders. Romo suffered a minor back injury when he tackled Commanders CB DeAngelo Hall after a RB Marion Barber fumble. Romo finished the game but did have some stiffness Monday.

12:38 pm Cowboys TE Jason Witten is dealing with a foot sprain and has been limited in practice this week. Coach Wade Phillips said Witten will be a game time decision on Thursday against the Raiders.
