I was OK with Farley at 10 but then Edwards went off the rails with Cowboys 2nd rounder:
10 - Farley, CB
44 - Freiermuth, TE
75 - Washington, S

Then again, when you look at who was still on his board at 44, maybe that wasn't a bad pick. I think I'd stretch at take the DT from USC or the DT from Washington.

Dallas needs to make a change at QB.. Get this thing going 1 direction or the other.

This type of drafting is just more secret 8-8 sauce.

Eichenberg is the better of the two and likely has the higher ceiling. Eichenberg probably lacks the feet and athleticism to play LT so his future is probably as a RT in the NFL. He's not in that top group with guys like Sewell, Slater, Darrisaw. He's probably a 2nd or early 3rd round guy but he's also probably a safe pick. High floor but low ceiling compared to the more elite OTs in this draft.

Hainsey's ceiling is as a RT or a backup swing tackle if he stays outside. Although if a team moves him inside, that might be his best chance at being a NFL starter. That being said, he's probably not as good an interior OL prospect as his teammate, Aaron Banks, who is also in the draft. So if you are drafting Hainsey to make him an OG and Banks is still on the board, you are better off taking Banks IMO.

Thanks, I got interested in the idea of a Tackle that could also play guard with Slater. Especially with our OL injuries last year. There seems to be a lot of them at different spots in the draft like Jenkins, Vera Tucker, Hainsey, Jackson Carmen. I guess it depends on whose there with the picks but I wonder if they would look at drafting Smith's replacement this year and the let him play if Smith is injured.
