CBS Sports: OBJ trade rumors

I heard Beckham and the #6 pick to the 49ers for the #3 pick

SF has the #2 pick.

I was thinking about that when I heard OBJ might be traded, because Niners need a WR and NYG could want to move up for a QB. One of my best buds is a huge Niner fan, and they've got some decent pieces, Shanahan is one of the best offensive coaches in the league, imo.

They really need an edge rusher, and WR talent could definitely help. Especially under Shanahan and that offense.

If Bosa is supposed to be there at #2 (AZ taking a QB this year with Kingsbury, i dunno, i'd probably take Bosa if i was him and see if Rosen ends up being anything), and AZ does actually take a QB, I think I'd rather have Bosa.

But, if he's not or they just go with Option B, OBJ and taking either Josh Allen or Montez Sweat trading down a few spaces, one of which will probably be there, could be a legitimate option.

I think the Giants are more afraid of someone trading up in front of them, they'd rather just get the guy they want. I'm guessing that's probably Haskins. They very well could be right about that.

I'd try to milk them for more though.

Well, the whole thing is crap. All of it.

Browns fans and players are going crazy today.

But don't crush their dreams. I admire the fact they can have them.

We can't because of our consistently idiotic leadership.

We're getting another year of Jeff Heath as a starting safety slash end zone escort.

If you can't get excited about that then I don't know how to help you.

We’ve won Super Bowls and just made the playoffs, even winning a playoff game.

But yeah, let’s pretend Browns fans have it better than we do.

5 TDs in 7 games lmffaooo

Actually, this is no fluke.....check his stats. He's terrible in the red zone. In fact, the reason they signed Brandon Marshall in 2017 coz they couldn't score TDs in red zone according to Eli. OBJ is all speed but red zone have a way neutralizing that coz everything gets tighter. lol

Maybe because the qb sucks

Until you get a coach...it doesn't matter who you have on the field

I’m Unaware of his exact contract. But he just signed an extension last off season. Wouldn’t a trade be really prohibitive against the Giants cap?
Not really. The Texans gave the Browns a 2nd rounder to take Oswallers contact so my guess is that who ever (if anyone) trades for him the have to take the contract hit.

That's a terrible trade for the Giants........Odell is worth more than moving up 3 spots.......
If it gets you your next franchise QB, it's worth it.

If the Giants believe in Haskins, they would have to move up to get him.

Moving up from 6 to 3
Its the equivalent value of a late first rounder for Beckham and his monster contract

Don't cut this cancer! Giants... you need this leach... I mean WR!

Preach it bro!! It's their "Dez" contract. You knew going in that it would be a bad contract for them.

A.B.>>>>>Beckham both are headcases, but Brown will be had for less than a first.
