CBS4Denver: Pacman (sic) Rips Brandon Marshall *Merged*

Now that's how you trash talk; not running your mouth to the media on the sidelines.

well saturday night should be fun. I bet cutler abuses jones all night.

Gotta love this stuff.......all in good fun.......

Has anyone considered that fact that Pacman isn't lying. I mean, Marshall is no T.O. He's just stating the obvious.

He didn't just blurt that out... a Denver area reporter asked him how close he was to TO (not to pacman)... and he answered honestly. If they didn't want to compare their hometown boy to one of the best WR's in the NFL, they wouldn't have gotten that answer.

What about Cutler? Nobody asked him who was better Pacman or Champ. He just decided to cut down Pacman because he was asked a question about who was better, TO or their young WR.

Frankly I'm glad that Pacman is exhibiting loyalty if not media saavy. Dallas is his team and TO is his teammate and he's going to stick by his guys. Good for him.

it's also an underhanded way of talking smack

like, "meh, I've seen better"

I have no problems w/ it though, it didn't upset anyone

Marshall strikes back

Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall had a response for Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones during the afternoon pratice.
Jones drew headlines earlier in the day when he remarked that Marshall is no Terrell Owens.
Marshall came to the afternoon practice with the words "21 is no Champ" taped on his shoulder pads. Marshall was saying that Jones was no Champ Bailey, the Broncos' Pro Bowl cornerback.

T.O should come out with, "Champ is no 41."

I've taken a wait-n-see approach to this Pacman thing.

But I'm starting to sense that this player is so insecure about himself that all of this trash talking is masking a deep-seated fear of being away from the game for a year. His impatience (immaturity) at the LOS makes him too jumpy and he bites too easily.

Hey Pacman, just **** and play ball. As soon as you can do that and cut out all of the trash-talking nonsense, I will call you Adam. Deal?

I literally laughed my *** off after reading this post. Yikes. Someone got a visit from Aunt Flow.

I don't think Marshall is giving TO enough credit for being the physical specimen that he is. This is fun stuff though.

The afternoon practice is over, and there's lots of interesting tidbits that we'll share later on. But let's get straight to the good stuff.

Denver receiver Brandon Marshall had the message "21's No Champ" taped to teh back of his shoulder pads during the afternoon workout. The message was a clear response to Adam "Pacman" Jones' morning assertion that Marshall was no Terrell Owens.

When asked point blank if Jones could cover him, Marshall said: "Absolutely not."

When asked if Owens was 10 times stronger than him, Marshall said: "I'm 24 and he might be 34, so I hope not. If that's true, I've got some work to do."

Marshall said he doesn't mind the Denver media giving him the Baby T.O. label. Well, it's got to be the Denver media doing that, because I've never heard him called that. He made sure to cap the interview with some nice things to say about Jones. But Marshall also said there will be a new message tomorrow.

"Pacman's a good player, and I enjoy working with him and against him," Marshall said. "He's a great guy. New message tomorrow, definitely."
