Note, real small so far today, I will post more that are good when they come in;

Rookie WR Dez Bryant on his decision not to participate in rookie hazing, choosing not to carry Roy Williams’ shoulder pads after practice. “I’m not going to do it. I feel like I was drafted to play football, not carry another player’s pads."

CB Mike Jenkins on WR Dez Bryant, who made a diving catch against him: “I got him off the line and he kind of snuck up on me because he’s got some speed. He made a great catch. He’s definitely gifted to make a lot of circus catches.”

With the broken hand, rookie DT Josh Brent is expected to miss just a practice or two and should return wearing a cast. Brent has a chance to compete for the backup NT spot behind All-Pro Jay Ratliff.

K David Buehler on the opportunity to win the kicking job: “I have to make every kick count. I just feel like my main competition is against myself. So that’s the way you have to see it.”

In what is becoming a constant practice theme, WR Dez Bryant made the catch of the day with a one-handed snag some 40 yards down the field. That ignited a roar from the San Antonio crowd.

CB Cletis Gordon, one of the players vying for the fourth spot, had two interceptions in Monday's afternoon practice, both in one-on-one drills.
