thoughtss on the first half....our pressure on Brees is VERY sporadic....need to get more consistent pressure on Brees.

Our O-line needs to pass-block better....they are bringng 5-6 guys when we are in Shotgun....come on JG....qut with the shotgun so often....you started off without it and is was confusng them....


DB's are leaving the mddle of the field WIDE OPEN....

Gotta seal that up and get more pressure on them...

As long as we don't turn the ball over, we'll be ok. Coming out of the half with the ball is huge for us since we get a chance to keep the ball rolling.

This is almost like watching a basketball game. You know at some point New Orleans is going to go on a run. NOW our team has to show that we're not going to fold over and weather the storm. If we can keep our noses clean, don't turn it over and see the reappearance of Mariano Barber in the closer role... I really don't think New Orleans will be able to pull this off.

I noticed we're running a balanced offense. I don't like Felix running up the middle too much, but we're up by two scores--hopeully three at the start of the half.

Keep abusing them with the run....get JF in there and let him loose....he's averagin over 5 yards per carry....MBIII is at 4.4....it's working JG!

I agree. Had we stuck to the run particularly on 1st downs we would have extended a few of those failed drives. We're fortunate the D got some TOs to keep NO off the scoreboard.
