Cbz40 Game Day Thread | 2nd Half | Dallas Cowboys 24 New York Giants 31 FINAL

Bad breaks and failed opportunities equals another December loss. A few players came up short, but at the end of the day....the Giants coaching staff were more prepared than the Cowboys. It was obvious in critical situations.

You simply must accept that certain posters are never going to see a problem within this organization beyond the superficial. To them, winning is almost entirely a product of random chance.
WRONG.

That's not how I feel at all Scipio.

Well, last time we beat the Giants twice in one season they went on to win the SB, maybe we can do the same here....bwaahahahahahaha

How is only the defense's fault? It was a complete meltdown by the entire team. The offense put up 2 touchdowns, big freakin deal. One of the td's was set up by the fumble recovery. Let's be honest, this team is exactly what we were afraid it is, mediocre. This was a must win game. This was a statement game. We were supposed to prove to the rest of the league that this team was different, that this team has what it takes to win in December. Guess what? Its the same team as last year, and the year before that, and the year before that. December woes continue.

Steve Smith and Brandon Jacobs would disagree

We just didn't come to play today.....blew through two Timeouts right away...why? Because their heads weren't in the game....hello coaching. I guess you don't coach motivation at all.

However, I am also one of those that says that players shouldn't need motivation, but the more I look at it they do. The Giants had absolutely NO PROBLEM getting up for this game....

The only silver lining is that Pittsburgh and New England both lost to worse teams so they may steal some of the headlines.
Doubt it, you're more likely to see about how Romo is beginning his December swoon. Not how the rest of the Cowboys had anything to do with it. This one isn't on Romo. It's on an ineffective barber, a ******** Folk and a team that just can't seem to stop themselves from handing games away.

But you know what? Literally every east battle we have is like this, we seemingly outplay our opponent yet we lose.. especially against the Giants.

Barber lost this game. You have to put the loss on him. He is the biggest goat. What a stupid wuss. Can't even hold the ball. You can't win with losers like Barber.

You can throw Folk in there, too. He absolutely sucks! And absolutely poor tackling.

People are going to look at the overthrow to Roy, the intentional grounding, and that 4downthrow to Barber as the reason we lost. its all Romos fault. Thats the way it goes, unfortunately being the QB.

Even if Romo hit Roy on that pass and he scores, does anyone think the D is going to hold the Giants on the next possession?

Really?

As I told my friend a few min ago, this team looks terrible against the Giants because the Giants always play them with TOUGHNESS and show HEART. These are two things that are and have been lacking in our team for a while now and are certainly not evident in our coach. We will continue to lose in December and meaningful games until this turns around. Just my opinion as a fan for more than 30 years.

As a side note, Eli Manning always abuses this team, along with Steve Smith... I don't know why Wade didn't have Jenkins on him all day... Scandrick has taken a step back...
Scandrick has taken several steps back since the beginning of the season.

Why even attempt to throw it to barber who didn't even make it to the line of scrimmage there....he was behind the blue line.

Anybody who blames Romo for this loss should just go kill themselves..

Romo played really well today despite missing a wide open Roy for a TD just a bit ago. This is NOT on him.

However, Special Teams today was terrible. Two missed field goals, a holding penalty on a big return, allowing a TD on a punt return.

We'll lose by 14 and that's 13 of it right there.

Choice should officially be made the starter... seriously... and he needs to be fed the rock like 30 times, because the way this team plays, nobody can establish a tempo...
