well if you think he will replicate 2007 stats again, he wont. The boring ball control offense will be better in long run.

1st half thoughts:

1) nice 1st qtr followed by a toally uninspiring 2nd qtr in all areas.

2) Romo has played ok, but a few of the bad plays we've had are on him. 2nd time this yr he never located a blitzer off the edge and this time it cost us 7pts. He also screwed up not checking out of that 3rd and 5 or 6 draw play they ran IMO. Way too many guys in the box for that play to work.

3) Pretty flat looking team in all areas, kinda reminds me of what we saw Monday night. Other than Barber, I just dont see any life in this team.

4) They've committed a ton of penalties and we're barely winning the game, thats a bad omen.

5) Defense still cant get any legit pressure on the QB

6) Mike Jenkins will be a probowl CB at some point in his career. Probably wont cxome this yr, but he is a really good cover CB.

7) Very disappointed in what I saw from Pat Watkins, who looked hopelessly lost in coverage after replacing Sensabaugh, who looks like he has a pretty significant hand/thumb injury.

I agree...75-80% of these boneheads have been crying for "ball control"..."ugly" football. Well, thats what you have now.

didn't feed choice and barber the ball at all in the 2nd qtr.- total mystery as usual with reds' play calling.


RW and Crayton don't get open consistently: would love to see Ogletree............can't be any worse. NO ONE was open on play Romo got blindsided on the blitz and fumbled....his fault granted, but as usual every WR wass covered like a blanket....same old ....same old.

I agree. He just can't get out of his own way. 3-14 deep in your own territory. Up by 10. Uh, let's throw the ball. Go back to throw, Romo hit, Romo fumbles, Denver gets the ball. TD! Back in the game.

Garrett is irritating. He knows enough to lean on the running game but not enough to play conservative when you have to play conservative.
