Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Atlanta Falcons 21 Dallas Cowboys 37 FINAL

lol they played terrible. The D got driven the entire length of the field, Romo did not even complete a pass the entire first quarter, of course I was ragging on them. There is a huge difference between ragging on a team playing crappy and giving up on a team. By your standards you can't say anything negative about a team with out giving up on it.

whihc goes back to my theory you dont know football.

This is just a sampling. Without digging all of them up, I'd wager that 75% of your posts are either a) sarcastic praise of our players mistakes, b) give up posts about the season being over, or the game being over, or us not making the playoffs, or c) straight out hate for the team, owner, coaches, players, stadium, etc.

too easy. You claimed you don't need to go look at my posts because you know my MO. Go look at them, from today and this past week, you will see you are wrong. Then come back and apologize.
Sorry. I'm not digging through all of your posts. I saw some of them, and they're posted. And I'm not playing some little game where you picked Dallas this week and suddenly you're no longer a negative nancy. Way to go, you picked Dallas this week. Now you can go back to your regular MO. Anyone who's paying attention knows what it is.

Deny it all you want

Everyone who knows your history knows how you are.

Im telling you right now, you are wrong. Read whatever you want into the few posts of mine that you actually read and then infer the worst possible **** about my fandom from those few posts and those EXTREME reaches on your part on what I actually mean. But your wrong. I don't wear those pink glasses like you do, I see a KC game like two weeks ago and think this team is in trouble. I see a first quarter like the one we had today and think this team is in trouble, by no means does that mean I give up.

Maybe to you seeing signs of trouble and saying that the team is playing like an 8-8 team means you are giving up, fine, but to me thats not what it means. If I were to give up on this team I would have quit watching years ago.

As it is I watch every game and believe it or not (I know you don't but maybe if I say it one more time you will) I love seeing games like today. Sure the first quarter was very sub-par but the rest of the game was fantastic, Romo played like the Romo of old and it was great to see, our CBs layed down some wood like I have not seen in years, we were getting pressure on the QB better than we have the rest of the year, all 3 of our backs were firing on all 6 cylinders, and Miles Austin, who I have been pulling for for years has his second spectacular game in a row (go back and look Ive said he will be good since his KO return in the Sea. playoff years ago).

You may not like that I point out the problems that this team has, or the problems that I think this team has. And I'll be the first to admit that I have become pretty cynical about this team over the past few years and maybe in your eyes that makes me a poor fan, perhaps you're right. However this team has let me down over and over in the past decade. I used to think Quincy C. was just a couple of games away from getting it together and leading us to glory...

All that to say I really do fully support this team, I have no idea why I care that you think I don't support it, who knows, this will be my last post about it though, I am tired of arguing about it. I am more negative about it than you and I guess sometimes that comes across as giving up on the team, but I can assure you no matter how it comes off I don't give up on them, I simply consider myself realistic. So, take it or leave it, this is the truth.

Well done. Can't believe you actually wasted your time doing that but can't argue about it.

Yes that last one is flat out hate. I don't think football should be played in a dome, I just don't, and I know Im in the minority about the stadium and that is fine. Im more negative then you guys and more cynical. I have absolutely no hate for the team. I don't hate Jerry Jones but I disagree with almost everything he does concerning this team, who cares, he can do whatever he wants he owns them, I would do it differently. I don't hate any of our players, I get frustrated with some of them just like everyone else. Same thing with coaches, Wade is a great guy, I am sure, but I think we could have a better coach.

I would say go look at my posts from three or four years ago and I think you will see an eternal optimist concerning this team, but that, I admit, has changed, drastically.

I don't give up on the team. I don't think we make the playofffs this year but I hope I am wrong, if you think that is giving up then thats fine, to me thats not giving up. Giving up is quitting watching this team. At least to me. Like I said above the I am tired of arguing about it. I am the way I am, I hope you and others will realize that while I and others are definitely more negative and cynical about this team than you and zrin and others it does not mean we are not just as big of fans as you. Just different personalities and views.

I agree with you and I feel very similar to you about this team right now

and especially about our stadium.... open the ****ing roof on days like today... can't stand domes AT ALL.
