Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas 31 New York 33 FINAL

We didn't deserve that game. Romo played like crap. Red called a terrible game by continually going away from the run. We're a stupid undisciplined team, and until we smarten up we don't deserve that stadium or a win.

Up by 4 and in Giants territory and Tony goes deep. That cost us the game.

Im probably overreacting, but I just want Wade fired already. He makes me sick to my stomach. You can say what you want about players executing and it wasnt like our Boys played great for Parcells his last year, but this is just embarassing.

Is anyone else surprised that we made so many stupid mistakes and bad playcalls yet only lost by 2 points to the giants? Are the giants that bad or are we that good? or luck?

Its just one game; there are 14 more to go.

I wonder if the Owens crowd fires back at the Romo crowd tonite? I hope so. The fireworks between the two sides are entertaining, and I could use some cheap entertainment.

2 games, 0 sacks. 0 turnovers.

The defense is the only reason he's here. If he can't do that, he is as worthless at **** on a boarhog.

god this pisses me off. we seriously suck.

How did the defense even play acceptable? They gave up 330 passing yards to a very average passing attack (on 8.7 Yards per attempt). They constantly let the Giants get important conversion after important conversion.

Quick question. How many defenses outside of the top five have won a Super Bowl in the last ten years or so?

Anyone think this defense is close?

This is a 6-10 team... Say hello to a top 10 pick.

Uh no. We gave a game away to the NFC favorite. That doesn't make us 6-10. It makes us a team that squanders opportunities at times. This was disgusting. We gave that game to them but, my God, I have NEVER seen a team get more bounces than the Giants. Tipped pass - caught. Bobbled ball - caught. Ball bounces off foot! - caught. Fumble - recovered of course. I mean EVERY single bounce. As if they didn't get enough gifts.

How does a deflected pass end up in their receivers arms? How does a ball bounce off our receivers foot into their defenders?

You cant exactly say it wasnt on the D. Because they pretty much sucked.

Oh I absolutely can. We stopped that team in the red zone consistantly. Held them to FGs. I mean, the defense held even when they were put in bad positions drive after drive. We gave them 17 points on TOs and turned the ball over deep in there territory. No, this was all Tony IMO.

Well, all in all 31 points should be more than enough to beat anyone in the league except maybe New Orleans at this stage in the game. I will, however, leave a few stat lines here that tell the story of the game:

Dallas:
- Barber, 18 car for 124 yards, 1 TD (6.9 ypc)
- Jones, 7 car for 96 yards, 1 TD (13.7 ypc)

New York:
- Manningham, 10 rec for 150 yards, 1 TD (15 y/catch)
- Smith, 10 rec for 134, 1 TD (13.4 y/catch)

Deduce what you will from that, coupled with the fact that I have never seen so many crazy tipped balls like this in my life, and the game is somewhere in the middle.

It's hard, once you have a few snowball-style, demoralizing bad bounces (an INT off Witten's foot?? Really??) to get yourself back in the game mentally...I don't care who you are.

1-1 isn't terrible. There are 14 games left. Hopefully our guys reset, refocus, and get ready to take it to Carolina next week. Tough running attack coming in our house.

no sacks, no turnovers, hell i barely even remember eli getting introduced to the fine turf at the new stadium. they were garbage, dont let romos horrid play distract you from this fact.

On Romo's 3rd pick, why did we even call for a pass there? The running game was totally abusing their defense all night long.

We had some nice momentum going, looking like we were on the verge of taking complete control of the game. It's just unbelievable how we lost this game tonight.

It's the Giants. I've been marveling at this for years. It's more than just being aware and in position. They have freakish luck. Period.
