Well, all in all 31 points should be more than enough to beat anyone in the league except maybe New Orleans at this stage in the game. I will, however, leave a few stat lines here that tell the story of the game:
Dallas:
- Barber, 18 car for 124 yards, 1 TD (6.9 ypc)
- Jones, 7 car for 96 yards, 1 TD (13.7 ypc)
New York:
- Manningham, 10 rec for 150 yards, 1 TD (15 y/catch)
- Smith, 10 rec for 134, 1 TD (13.4 y/catch)
Deduce what you will from that, coupled with the fact that I have never seen so many crazy tipped balls like this in my life, and the game is somewhere in the middle.
It's hard, once you have a few snowball-style, demoralizing bad bounces (an INT off Witten's foot?? Really??) to get yourself back in the game mentally...I don't care who you are.
1-1 isn't terrible. There are 14 games left. Hopefully our guys reset, refocus, and get ready to take it to Carolina next week. Tough running attack coming in our house.
