we had proved all game that we weren't going to stop the Giants from scoring more points.

going for 3 and closing the gap to 15 is statistically the right call, but in a game of emotion and momentum, I have no problem with trying to get 7 when you are inside the 10 yard line and down by so much

See, I just can't agree with coaching like you don't have a chance. If you coach that way, you're telling your team that you don't have a chance.

If you're down by 10 with three minutes left and have fourth-and-goal from the 6, do you go for it?

Hey Adam, you know how your where talking about the stat anomolies that were happening with the Cowboys this year the other day. Did you hear what Babe was saying on the radio broadcast about having that many turnovers? It was something like 90% of the time the team wins and yet we manage to lose!
It is unreal what is going on with this team this season

Before tonight, we were 96-7 all-time when we had a turnover margin of plus-three or better.

We hadn't lost a game like that since 1997, when Arizona beat us in overtime.

apples and oranges

In this scenario - we know we will need a minimum of 2 td's, and may very well need three touchdowns when it is all said and done.

so when you are in the shadow of their endzone, a field goal can be a real momentum killer.

Of course, not converting the 4th down is as well.

I'm just saying, down by 18, I didn't have a problem with the call. In fact, I had more of a problem when we had a 4th and 3 at the 38 and punted.

Commanders fan here. Sorry about Romo and the early end to your season. Things are always more interesting and intense when we're battling it out late in the season for a playoff spot.

don't hold your breath. we will be battling out for last place now that Romo is out for an extended period.

You might be right, especially with how McNabb has played for us.
