So IIRC this is the third time in 5 years that we've defeated the super bowl champions in the regular season.

the Saints can thank Garcon and Wayne for this victory

if garcon makes the catch in the 1st half, the Colts probably drive down to make it 17-3. instead he drops it, and the Colts punt.

as far as Wayne, wasnt it nice of him to leave Peyton out to dry. Not only does he not run the route properly, but he lollygags in pursuit of Porter after the INT.

Dungy (and myself) need to get out of the prediction business:

Dungy, speaking to The New York Times in Miami, said the Saints won't be able to do enough to force the Colts into needing a final, last-minute drive to win the Super Bowl.

"I think they're going to be so far ahead that people are going to say, 'Oh, ho-hum, he played a good game, they won by two scores, the Colts won their second championship,' " Dungy said of Manning on Thursday. "He's going to have those rings Sunday night. I don't think it's going to be close."

Why? Did the Cowboys' doctor get them healthy?

Give me a freakin break....whatever you say goes even though it doesn't go against the "rules of this board? Seems as though someone has gotten a little bit power happy.

I've been a member of this forum when there were only 30 people around on the OLD board....I've never seen ANY mod do what you are saying that you would do....unbelievable....especially since I have seen MUCH worse go on on this board.

Manning was far from perfect tonight though and that suprises me. That last drive, he took a Timeout when he didn't mean to, then didn't take a TO before the 4th down play they had to have.

I don't get all the fuss about the Katrina reference. Is it that it has been overused or what?

I have friends in that city and I don't think you can underestimate what this team has meant to that city.

I hope not, its just something that i realized. I'd rather look ahead towards next season than reflect on the past

Also, how does he not check out of the run on third down?

Manning is great, but I don't want to hear how he's better than Montana anymore. Joe was freekin $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
